Disney Dreamlight Valley has revealed its remaining 2026 roadmap alongside the first teaser for its fourth major expansion, The Keepsake Sea.
Gameloft unveiled the roadmap during its D23 panel on 14 August. The remaining schedule includes Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire cosmetics, a six-week Halloween event featuring Oogie Boogie, Lilo’s arrival during the holiday season and an October Showcase dedicated to the next expansion.
The Keepsake Sea was the final reveal of the panel. The expansion’s teaser shows an underwater environment and introduces Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean as one of its characters. Gameloft describes it as the fourth expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The teaser also appears to show the player character swimming underwater with a mermaid-like form. Gameloft has not yet confirmed whether this represents a permanent mermaid transformation mechanic, a temporary ability or something specific to one part of the expansion.
More details will arrive during a Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase in October 2026. Gameloft has not yet announced a precise release date for The Keepsake Sea through its D23 roadmap.
The expansion follows a busy period of paid Disney Dreamlight Valley content. Wishblossom Ranch introduced rideable horses, new biomes and characters including Snow White and Tinker Bell, while the more recent Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack brought Winnie the Pooh into the game.
Before The Keepsake Sea receives its full showcase, Disney Dreamlight Valley has several free updates and events planned.
Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas arrives as a new Villager through a six-week Halloween event beginning in September. The event will introduce a new quest each week alongside themed rewards and seasonal activities leading towards Halloween.
His arrival expands the game’s existing Nightmare Before Christmas cast after Jack Skellington and Sally were introduced in earlier updates.
I think the six-week structure is more interesting than Oogie Boogie simply being added as another Villager, because Gameloft is turning his arrival into an extended progression event rather than a single update-day unlock.
The final free content update of 2026 will arrive during the holiday season and add Lilo. Her introduction finally reunites her with Stitch, years after Lilo & Stitch-themed items were already being offered through Dreamlight Valley events and redemption codes.
Before either character arrives, the Premium Shop gets a dose of early-2000s Disney Channel nostalgia.
A new Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire collection launches on 19 August. Gameloft says the collection will include outfits inspired by both franchises for player Avatars.
