It’s been revealed that General Zod will be the fourth Injustice Gods Among Us DLC character to be released. Superman’s arch enemy was revealed by NetherRealm Studios creative director and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon and Conan O’Brien via social networking website Twitter.
Fans will get to see a special Zod video trailer launched next week as part of the promotional launch date of the character. Zod now joins the likes of Lobo, Batgirl and Scorpion in the downloadable characters that have been implemented into the DC universe video game.
Gamers who’re grant holders for the Injustice Gods Among Us DLC season pass will have access to the four extra characters for the price of three. The season pass is priced at 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.28 / $15.00 / €14.40) for the Xbox 360 and £11.99 for the Sony PlayStation 3.
It has also come to our attention that NetherRealm Studios plans to bring the Injustice DLC to the Nintendo Wii U in the not so distant future.
