The popular Haunted Mansion bundle has returned to Disney’s life simulation game Disney Dreamlight Valley just in time for Halloween, after being temporarily removed due to technical issues. The special bundle provides players a way to decorate their in-game home with a spooky Haunted Mansion motif.

Disney Dreamlight Valley allows users to build and customise a home while exploring an expansive world featuring dozens of classic Disney characters like the Fairy Godmother, Lilo & Stitch, Mickey Mouse and many more. Premium decorative bundles called Dream Styles are available for purchase, including a Haunted Mansion set introduced in September.

Unfortunately, the Haunted Mansion Dream Style bundle was taken down shortly after release when a game-breaking bug was discovered that prevented accessing the game. The underlying issue which started following September’s Enchanted Adventure update was quickly patched, but the bundle itself remained unavailable.

Bundle Includes Original and Nightmare Before Christmas Styles

On October 7th, developers Gameloft announced the nightmarish bundle has risen from the grave and returned to the in-game shop for a limited time. It includes both a standard Haunted Mansion exterior, and a “Haunted Before Christmas” version decked out with jack-o-lanterns and festive lights.

The original removal frustrated players eager to decorate with the iconic Disney Parks theme for Halloween. Its return allows fans to properly celebrate the spooky season with a home suited for ghosts and ghouls. The Christmas hybrid style also enables maintaining the exterior well into the holiday season.

No exact end date for the bundle’s availability was provided, so interested fans should act fast to avoid missing out again. The Haunted Mansion Dream Style joins a free autumnal bundle also available currently. Between them, players can thoroughly embrace the fall vibes.

Early Access Life Sim Could Fully Launch Later This Year

With Halloween fast approaching, the mansion makeover arrives perfectly timed for the in-game Trick or Treat Dreamlight Duty challenges and other themed activities. Fans can now complete seasonal quests haunted by happy memories of family trips to Disney’s frightfully fun parks attractions.

The popular life simulation adventure game remains in early access on all major platforms. Developer Gameloft has suggested the free-to-play life sim could see its full launch later in 2023, but with only 3 months of the year left that’s looking less likely. The company previously targeted the fall for the game’s official debut, but no firm date has been set yet.

While the title’s enchanting world continues expanding through regular updates, the return of the momentarily missing Haunted Mansion content shows Gameloft’s commitment to quickly resolving issues. This provides confidence that the game has a bright future in store when it emerges from early access as Disney fans’ new home away from home.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is out now in early access on Windows PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
