The event introduces new gameplay elements to Fortnite, such as the Ship in a Bottle item, which summons a ghostly ship to damage opponents.
Players can also find the returning Pirate Cannons to launch themselves across the map or use as weapons. Buried Treasure Maps also make a return and lead to additional cosmetics like the Flint-Knock Pistol.
This Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration joins a long list of successful Fortnite crossovers, including Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, DC Comics, and Dragon Ball Z. However, this event stands out for its extensive range of cosmetics and gameplay additions.
As players embark on their pirate adventures in Fortnite, they have just over two weeks to complete quests, unlock rewards, and fully immerse themselves in the world of Pirates of the Caribbean.
