The announcement was made during Summer Game Fest 2025, accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek trailer featuring pro wrestler Kenny Omega cosplaying as each character, ending with a brief but promising gameplay snippet for Sagat.
Confirmed SF6 Year 3 DLC Characters and Release Window
- Sagat – Summer 2025
- C. Viper – Autumn 2025
- Alex – Early Spring 2026
- Ingrid – Late Spring 2026
Sagat’s brief gameplay showcase shows him facing off against Ryu with signature moves intact: Tiger Shot, Tiger Uppercut, and Tiger Knee all return, backed by a fresh take on his iconic Thailand stage from Street Fighter II.
The return of Sagat, Alex, and C. Viper further solidifies Street Fighter 6’s commitment to legacy character integration, but all eyes are on Ingrid, an unexpected inclusion whose last major appearance was in 2006’s Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX on PSP.
Her original debut came in the critically maligned Capcom Fighting Evolution (2004), making her reappearance a surprising but intriguing move for the franchise.
All characters in the Year 3 pass have been redesigned to fit Street Fighter 6’s aesthetic direction, though detailed gameplay for C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid has not yet been shown.
Capcom’s incremental DLC rollout strategy ensures each character will have room to shine throughout the 2025–2026 season.
Year 3 marks another step in Street Fighter 6’s evolving roadmap, bolstering the game’s already deep roster with both powerhouse staples and wildcard entries.
With Sagat leading the charge this summer, fans can expect a blend of nostalgia, experimentation, and modern fighting flair.
