The Stewardess Dress was added to Sons of the Forest in Patch 16 as the update’s secret findable clothing item.
It is also a returning outfit from The Forest, where the Stewardess Dress and Pilot Uniform were separate clothing items.
To find it, head towards the mountain plane wreck on the northern side of the snowy region. The crash site sits below the golf course area, with the aircraft lodged among the mountain terrain rather than at a marked GPS objective.
Use the river and the gap running between the mountain ridges to narrow down the area. Once you get close, the broken fuselage is much easier to spot against the snow.
The Stewardess Dress is inside the crashed plane. Interact with it to collect the outfit, which is then stored with the clothing items in your inventory.
You can wear the dress yourself or give it to Kelvin through his clothing interaction.
Virginia cannot currently equip the Stewardess Dress. Her wardrobe uses a separate set of companion-specific outfits.
For me, Kelvin is still the funniest use for it. Watching him haul logs around the island in a flight attendant uniform is exactly the sort of ridiculous detail that makes the cosmetic outfits worth collecting.
The Stewardess Dress is mainly a collection and customisation item rather than something I would seek out for a survival advantage. If you are working through the clothing set, the Tuxedo location is another player-and-Kelvin outfit worth collecting.
