Key Highlights:
- The Blazer was originally in the northwest mass grave, but after 1.0 it is now on the southmost Cultist Yacht.
- It is found on a chair inside the yacht’s main cabin.
- Wearing it gives low-medium Warmth, Comfort, and Waterproofing, making it more of a fashion choice.
The Blazer in Sons of The Forest is more about style than survival. It does not outperform the Winter Jacket or tactical clothing, but it remains a unique outfit and a fun collectible.
Before version 1.0, players would find it in the mass grave in the northwest, at the circular crossroads of five roads. Searching the coffins there would reveal the Blazer folded neatly atop a skeleton. That was the original location.
With the 1.0 update, the Blazer has moved. The only confirmed spawn now is aboard the southernmost Cultist Yacht, one of the beached cult vessels on the south beach. The yacht is covered in gore and cult markings. Climb aboard, head into the main cabin, and the Blazer will be waiting on a chair.
To get there, make your way to the south coast and look for the cultist ship nearest to an active cannibal camp. Board via the bow or the side gangways, then move into the main living area where the chair sits with the Blazer on it. While exploring the yacht, it is worth looting other items scattered around such as sketches or cult papers.
Once picked up, the Blazer can be equipped directly from your inventory. You can also give it to Kelvin if you want him looking sharp while he works.
Stat-wise it offers low to moderate Warmth, low to moderate Comfort, and low waterproofing. It is not designed for harsh conditions, but as an outfit it adds variety to your wardrobe and is a nice collectible for players who want to dress with style as well as survive.
If you don’t care about style and want the outright best clothing, then you’ll need to pick up the Winter Jacket which we’ve already covered in another guide.
If the Blazer does not appear, it could be down to a world spawn bug. Try reloading your save or restarting the game. In some cases, players have reported it showing up in different cultist ship interiors, so checking multiple yacht wrecks is also worthwhile.
From my playthrough, it was there at the southmost Cultist Yacht, so it does seem the most dependable spawn spot. For every confirmed spawn, crafting recipe, and travel shortcut, dive into the Ultimate Guide to Sons of the Forest.
