Sons of The Forest Pajamas Location After Patch 1.0

Key Highlights:

  • The SOTF Pajamas were moved after 1.0: now found on a north coast sailboat, not in VIP bunkers.
  • Best-in-game Comfort boosts Rest recovery, especially when sleeping indoors.
  • Very low Warmth: use for recovery cycles, not cold travel.

The Pajamas are a full pink set that trade warmth for the highest Comfort stat in Sons of The Forest. That Comfort speeds up Rest recovery when you sleep or sit, which is perfect for long building sessions or resource runs.

Older outdated guides still send players to VIP bunkers, but that is outdated since 1.0. The set now spawns on the northern shoreline and is much easier to reach early. See the map below:

Go to the far north coast and look for two beached sailboats close together. Open your GPS to line up the coastline, then board the left-hand sailboat. Step into the small cabin and check the bed on the left. The Pajamas are folded there and hard to miss. Pick them up and equip from your inventory.

After equipping them from your inventory, you’ll notice the difference during rest cycles. Testing shows that sleeping indoors on a bed while wearing the Pajamas restores roughly 95% of your Rest bar, compared to 60–75% when wearing standard clothing like the Tactical Jacket.

Sleeping outdoors yields weaker results, about 40–60% Rest recovery, but it’s still faster than normal clothing. For best results, sleep indoors with the door locked to avoid interruption. Because the set has poor Warmth, swap back to a Winter Jacket or other cold gear for travel, then switch to Pajamas before you sleep.

You can also regain Rest by sitting on a bench or chair, though that method takes about two and a half minutes for a full recovery. The Pajamas don’t speed this up much, whether you’re inside or out, so their biggest benefit remains tied to sleep cycles. I found they’re perfect for quick rest breaks between long building or exploration sessions, especially if you’re running low on stamina late in the day.

A few tips that help new saves. Drop a small cabin or a simple bed near a work area so you can rotate: gather, craft, switch to Pajamas, sleep, then swap back to working clothes.

If a patrol wanders near your boat approach, skirt the beach and come in from the other side. Mark the sailboat on your map with a mental note or a nearby tarp and stick save so you can revisit the coast quickly on new runs.

The Pajamas do not aid combat or weather, but they are a strong quality-of-life pick. Treat them as your recovery tool: use them to refill Rest fast, then change back to something warmer or more practical before heading out again.
