A brand new teaser clip has been revealed by Activision in anticipation of Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. The clip all but confirms that the new season will have a narrative centered around Alejandro Vargas and Valeria Garza.
The teaser trailer features a short clip of Alejandro getting ready for battle, where he mentions Valeria has escaped and suggests fighting fire with fire. The sneak peak was posted on the official COD Twitter account and it only lasts a little more than 10 seconds and can bee viewed at the footer of this page. While the first two Raid episodes focused on Price, Gaz, and Farah, the upcoming season will likely shift its focus to Alejandro’s pursuit of Valeria.
Although they are newcomers to the series, Alejandro and Valeria’s remarkable appearances in the MW2 campaign quickly made them fan-favourites. It appears that players will now have the opportunity to witness more of the tension between these two characters. They will no-doubt be playable operators in the upcoming season and in addition, Activision has announced that the highly anticipated Intervention sniper rifle will make a comeback also, along with the introduction of the new Pelayo’s Lighthouse 6v6 multiplayer map.
