Gamers will have the opportunity to test out Street Fighter 6 before its official release, thanks to Capcom. With several new titles and DLCs set to launch, 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for fans of fighting games.

Street Fighter 6 is one of the most highly anticipated fighting game releases of the year, set to launch alongside several other titles in June and marking the start of summer for fans of the genre. Despite having a beta earlier this year, players can look forward to another opportunity to try out the next installment in the renowned franchise before its official release.

Playable Demo Details

Capcom has revealed that a demo of the Beat ‘Em Up will be available for gamers to test out earlier than expected. The details were shared on the official PlayStation blog. The demo is currently accessible on PlayStation 4 and PS5, and will be available on Windows PC and Xbox Series X/S starting from April 26th.

Players will have the chance to explore the World Tour mode and several modes in Fighting Ground. Additionally, the Avatar Creator in Street Fighter 6 will be available in the demo, enabling players to create their own character. Any avatars created during the trial will be transferable to the full version of the game, but progress made in World Tour mode will not carry over.

In addition, it has been announced that the fighter will have four DLC fighters added during its first year. The characters include Rashid from SF 5, a new fighter named A.K.I., Ed from SF 4, and the infamous Street Fighter villain, Akuma. Rashid will be available in the Summer of 2023, A.K.I. in the Autumn of 2023, Ed in the Winter of 2024, and Akuma in the Spring of 2024. These fighters will be featured in the World Tour mode and their move sets will be accessible for custom-made characters.

The summer is going to be amazing if you are a big fan of fighting video games, as Tekken 8 which is the Beat ‘Em Up’s biggest competitor, arrives around the same time.
