A fresh set of 5 weekly challenges has pulled into the garage for Gran Turismo 7 (GT7) this week, offering up to 115,000 credits for race victories. Introduced in the recent Spec II update, these limited-time events refresh every week and draw races from the preexisting World Circuits.
Gearheads will need to get back behind the wheel even if they’ve already bested these events before, as bonus rewards hang in the balance for completing a number of them. Check out the full details below:
| Challenge | Track | Type | Laps | Restrictions | Win Reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Valley Highway-1 – World Touring Car 600 | Grand Valley Speedway | World Touring Car | 5 | ≤600PP | 92,000cr |
| Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa+Miyabi – Hypercar Parade | Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa+Miyabi | Hypercar Parade | 4 | Road Car | 100,000cr |
| Red Bull Ring – World Touring Car 700 | Red Bull Ring | World Touring Car | 10 | ≤700PP, Racing Tires | 115,000cr |
| Tsukuba Circuit – Japanese FR Challenge 450 | Tsukuba Circuit | Japanese FR Challenge | 3 | Road Car, Japan, FR | 10,000cr |
| Willow Springs Big Willow – American FR Challenge 550 | Willow Springs International Raceway | American FR Challenge | 2 | Road Car, USA, FR | 10,000cr |
Things kick off slowly at first with a pair of Front-engine, Rear wheel drive (FR) challenges featuring tiny 10,000 credit top prizes. The Japanese FR Challenge at Tsukuba Circuit is a 450 Performance Point (PP) 3-lap suggested run for Japanese FR road cars. Similarly, the American FR Challenge at Willow Springs is a 550 PP, 2-lap race for American FR steeds.
The stakes ramp up from there in the prestigious Hypercar Parade at Kyoto Driving Park. Racers will need to harness at least 100 horses to outpace the advanced AI here over 4 laps. Be aware that Menu Book 44 progress is required for entry. A smooth 100,000 credits await the checkered flag, however.
There’s also not one but two intense World Touring Car showdowns anchored by strict PP limits this time. The WTC600 contest at Grand Valley allows any vehicle at the 600 PP threshold to compete for 92,000 credits over 5 laps. Gearheads will then need to bolt on racing rubber for the gruelling 10 lap WTC700 at Red Bull Ring, which mandates both 700 PP and racing tires. Watch for punishing tire wear and fuel drain multipliers here while shooting for the 115,000 top spot purse.
Bonus Rewards: Complete at Least One for Parts
As before, bonus goodies drop by just completing a number of events at a podium position or higher. A Six-Star Roulette parts ticket falls into inventory after crossing the finish line in 1 race. Three events finished grants a tasty 200,000 credit windfall. Lastly, besting all 5 earns the Six-Star Roulette car ticket for a shot at special vehicles otherwise unattainable.
Challenges Close Out Next Week
These weekly events refresh at midnight local time each Wednesday night/Thursday morning. The next lineup launches on December 13th, so enthusiasts have until then to grab these rewards. As usual, completion of Menu Book 39 and its ending movie are required for access.
With big cred payouts, intense PP-limited brawls, and bonus parts and cars as prizes, this week’s challenges let GT7 racers put their skills to the test while expanding their collections. Grab some track time and climb those standings for the best awards before the checkered flag waves next Wednesday night!
