This Merchant Request tasks players with eliminating four rats scurrying around the dimly lit Waste Disposal area. These critters can be tricky to spot, so utilising tools like the Biosensor Scope or subtitles for audio cues can make the hunt easier.
How to Start the Request
The blue request note can be found near the Merchant’s location in Waste Disposal, directly across from the area’s entrance. This is accessible after solving the Waste Disposal console puzzle and progressing through the red-lit doorway.

Rat #1 Location
- Where to Look:
In the eastern section of Waste Disposal, accessible by ordering Ashley to raise the bridge. - Details:
The rat moves along a looped path in this square-shaped area, often near the lit doorway. Keep an eye on the ground and move quickly to spot it.
Rat #2 Location
- Where to Look:
Found in the northwestern part of Waste Disposal, where a Regenerador previously lurked among trash bags. - Details:
After crossing the long bridge, search the floor with your flashlight. This rat often hides near the edge of the area.
Rat #3 Location

The rat roams this narrow corridor. With all rats located and exterminated, return to the Merchant to claim your reward of 3 Spinels.
It doesn’t matter which order you eliminate the Rats, but using this guide you will at least know their locations and then you’ll be able to take them down as you see fit.
