To complete the game and explore fully, you’ll need all three keycards: Maintenance, VIP, and Guest. However, they must be collected in a specific order, starting with the Maintenance Keycard.

Sons of the Forest Maintenance Keycard Location

The Maintenance Keycard is located between the Western beach and the snowy mountain on the North-West side of the map.

You’ll need the Shovel to dig up the entrance, so ensure you’ve already acquired the Rebreather and Zipline Rope Gun to obtain it.

Once ready, head to the marked location and look for a golf caddy near two tripods.

To obtain the keycard:

1. Dig in front of the golf caddy with the Shovel to reveal Maintenance Hatch A.
2. Open the hatch and descend the ladder.
3. Follow the corridor and enter the first open room on the right.
4. The Maintenance Keycard is on the desk beside a laptop.

Tip: Use your GPS map to locate any of these locations or refer to interactive maps for precise guidance.

Sons of the Forest VIP Keycard Location

With the Maintenance Keycard in hand, you can now access the next keycard. The VIP Keycard is found in a bunker between the Western and Northern beaches. Look for a cave near a pair of golf carts.

How to get the VIP Keycard:

1. Enter the cave and navigate through the tunnel.
2. Climb down the hatch labeled Food and Dining.
3. Use the Maintenance Keycard on the scanner to open a locked door.
4. Move through the plant-filled lab, wade through a flooded corridor, and ascend to the security room.
5. The VIP Keycard is on a desk under security monitors.

This keycard also unlocks the Dining Hall, where you can find an outfit for Virginia.

Quick Tip: Turning on Peaceful Mode will allow you to explore enemy free.

Sons of the Forest Guest Keycard Location

The Guest Keycard is in a bunker on the Western side of the island, near the beach.

How to obtain it:

1. Enter the cave and follow the corridor inside.
2. Use the VIP Keycard to unlock a door at the end of the hallway.
3. Move past the lounge and bar area.
4. Find the Guest Keycard on a glass table inside a booth near the Night Club neon sign.

Just before the glass table, you’ll want to pick up a very unique weapon that’s placed on the bar you walked past at the entrance of the bar. This item is the Guitar, and it is advised to pick it up and collect it but that’s ultimately up to you as it is not mandatory.

How to Cheat to Get All Sons of the Forest Keycards

If you prefer to skip these steps and spawn keycards instantly, you can use cheat commands:

1. Type cheatstick in-game.
2. Press F1 to open the console.
3. Enter the following commands:
   • additem 566 (Maintenance Keycard)
   • additem 567 (VIP Keycard)
   • additem 568 (Guest Keycard)

Alternatively, use addallitems to add every item in the game to your inventory.
