Sektor returned as a playable fighter in Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns with a completely reimagined New Era design. Rather than becoming a cyborg, she remains human and fights inside an advanced exosuit equipped with missiles, flamethrowers, thrusters, shields and other heavy weaponry.
The New Era Sektor is the Lin Kuei’s Master Armorer and one of Sub-Zero’s most trusted allies. Her playable version has two character-specific Fatalities, the Horn To Be Wild Animality, The Klassic and seven character-specific Brutalities. Five unlock through Fighter Mastery, while Target Acquired and Shield Bash are Seasonal Store Brutalities.
How to Perform Sektor’s First Fatality in MK1 (Cyber Crematorium)

Cyber Crematorium has Sektor ignite the opponent from inside using the flamethrowers built into her exosuit before unleashing a much larger burst of fire that tears through what remains.
The Fatality works from directly beside the opponent out towards Sweep Distance. I recommend using Sweep Distance as the visual reference because it gives you a repeatable starting point without forcing Sektor unnecessarily close.
How to Perform Sektor’s Second Fatality in MK1 (The Right Stuff)

The Right Stuff has Sektor seize the opponent and rocket into the upper atmosphere. Their body freezes at extreme altitude before the pair plunge back towards Earth, where the re-entry and final impact finish the sequence.
Like Cyber Crematorium, The Right Stuff works throughout the space between Close and Sweep Distance. There is no advantage in standing directly against the opponent, so leaving a small gap makes the input easier to enter cleanly.
Important: Sektor can also perform the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Winter Fatalities if they are unlocked on the player’s account. These seasonal Fatalities are not unique to Sektor and can be performed by other playable fighters.
How to Perform Sektor’s Animality in MK1 (Horn To Be Wild)
Input Distance: Sweep Distance to Full Screen
Execution Difficulty: Easy

Horn To Be Wild transforms Sektor into a huge rhinoceros that charges straight through the opponent before using its horn and sheer weight to finish the attack.
The Animality has a much larger working range than either Fatality. Once Sektor is approximately Sweep Distance away, the same four-direction input remains valid all the way to Full Screen.
A rhinoceros also fits Sektor’s fighting identity surprisingly well. Her Mortal Kombat 1 design is built around armour, forward momentum and overwhelming force, all of which carry naturally into the transformation.

All Sektor Brutalities in Mortal Kombat 1
Sektor has The Klassic and five character-specific Brutalities unlocked through Fighter Mastery. Tug Of War, In A Blaze, Fire Away, Vise Grip and Something On You… unlock at Mastery Ranks 1, 4, 7, 11 and 18 respectively.
Two additional Brutalities, Target Acquired and Shield Bash, are available through the Seasonal Store and sit outside Fighter Mastery progression.
The Klassic
Unlock Requirement: Available by default

Final Hit: Uppercut
Additional Condition: Hold Back Punch during the Final Hit.
Sektor performs the traditional Mortal Kombat uppercut and removes the opponent’s head.
Keep Back Punch held as the Uppercut connects rather than releasing the attack immediately.
Tug Of War
Unlock Requirement: Fighter Mastery Rank 1

Final Hit: Skill Crane Hot Streak (Back Throw)
Additional Condition: Press ⬇️, ⬇️, ⬇️ during the Final Hit.
Tug Of War turns Sektor’s Skill Crane Hot Streak Back Throw into a Brutality. Her mechanical arm tears away the opponent’s head before pulling it into the rear section of her exosuit and destroying it.
Begin entering the three Down inputs as soon as the Back Throw animation starts. Waiting until the mechanical arm has already completed most of the sequence leaves less time for the Brutality input to register.
Brutality Variation: Instead of pressing Down three times, hold Up + Back Punch immediately after initiating the Back Throw to trigger the universal MK11-style Screen Throw Brutality.

Because Tug Of War and the Screen Throw both begin from Skill Crane Hot Streak, the follow-up input determines which Brutality activates.
In A Blaze

Final Hit: Flamethrower

In A Blaze turns Sektor’s Flamethrower into a finishing attack, keeping the opponent trapped in the flames until the Brutality completes.
The execution is straightforward because the same Back Punch used to activate Flamethrower is also the button that needs to remain held. Enter the special move normally and simply keep Back Punch pressed as it connects.
Fire Away
Unlock Requirement: Fighter Mastery Rank 7

Final Hit: Tactical Redeploy
Additional Condition: Hold Down during the Final Hit.
Fire Away converts Tactical Redeploy into a high-speed finishing pass, with Sektor using the exosuit’s thrusters to tear through the opponent.
The Down input that begins Tactical Redeploy is already part of the Brutality requirement. The simplest approach is to enter the special move and return immediately to holding Down rather than trying to add it late in the animation.
Vise Grip
Unlock Requirement: Fighter Mastery Rank 11

Final Hit: Head Compactor
Additional Condition: Hold Back during the Final Hit.
Vise Grip modifies Sektor’s Head Compactor Kombo into a lethal close-range finish, using the powered strikes from her exosuit to destroy the opponent.
Complete the three-part Kombo normally and begin holding Back as the Throw input finishes the sequence.
Do not hold Back before starting Head Compactor because the directional input can change the opening attack and prevent the required Kombo from coming out.
Something On You…

Final Hit: Unguided Rocket
Additional Condition: Hold Front Punch during the Final Hit.
Something On You… turns Sektor’s Unguided Rocket into a Brutality, with the explosive projectile finishing the opponent on impact.
Front Punch is already the attack button used for Unguided Rocket, so keep it held after completing the Back, Forward motion rather than tapping and releasing it.
Seasonal Store Brutalities
Sektor has two additional Brutalities available through the Seasonal Store. Target Acquired and Shield Bash sit outside her five Fighter Mastery unlocks and remain usable once acquired.
Target Acquired

Final Hit: Sidewinder
Additional Condition: Hold Down during the Final Hit.
Target Acquired uses Sektor’s Sidewinder missile to destroy the opponent when the projectile lands.
Sidewinder is unusual because Sektor can alter where the missile lands with an additional directional input. For this Brutality, Down is both the required held direction and the direction associated with the central Sidewinder placement.
I would hold Down immediately after entering the Sidewinder command and keep it held until the missile connects. That avoids accidentally steering the projectile to a different target position while also satisfying the Brutality condition.
Shield Bash
Unlock Requirement: Seasonal Store

- Nintendo Switch: Jump Forward + 🅑, 🅧
Required Form: Airborne
Final Hit: Demolition
Additional Condition: Hold Forward during the Final Hit.
Shield Bash converts Sektor’s Demolition aerial Kombo into a Brutality, using the powered attack sequence to crush the opponent before Sektor returns to the ground.
The jump is a prerequisite rather than part of the finishing condition. Start with Jump Forward + Front Kick, press Back Punch while Sektor is still airborne, and maintain Forward through the final hit.
Trying to enter the attacks after Sektor has already landed will produce ground attacks instead of Demolition and cannot trigger Shield Bash.
