  • A brand-new project reveal with a special guest planned for Friday.
  • Project Zircon and multiple live stage events round out the showcase.

Tokyo Game Show 2025 runs from September 25 to 28, and Konami is once again set to be one of the event’s biggest players. Alongside its established franchises, the publisher has confirmed a brand-new project reveal that will debut during the Friday schedule.

One of the most anticipated moments is the dedicated stage show for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, followed by a Production Hotline stream where developers will discuss the future of the series.

Meanwhile, Silent Hill f will be featured in its own segment, including a talk session and live gameplay commentary hosted by the streamer group 2BRO.

From experience, these developer-led showcases tend to surface extra gameplay details that aren’t always present in official trailers, so it’s worth paying close attention.

The return of Suikoden also promises to be a major talking point, with Konami using its stage time to share updates on both the upcoming game and the related anime project.

Another intriguing inclusion at TGS 2025 is Project Zircon, described as a Fantasy Ensemble Drama featuring more than a thousand characters, which will be introduced to audiences on Sunday.

Konami’s showcase doesn’t exist in isolation either. Thursday kicks off with a crossover event for Yu-Gi-Oh! × eFootball, paired with the Indie Games Contest Student Championship awards ceremony.

Fans of game music will also get a live performance from the Falcom jdk BAND celebrating The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter Remake.

On the competitive side, an international WBSC eBASEBALL: Power Pros tournament will feature a Women’s Qualifier, highlighting esports’ growing presence at TGS.

There’s also an emphasis on industry heritage. Takiya Iijima, one of the pioneers of PC gaming in Japan, will appear in a talk session, while Kogado Studio, a developer with over a century of history, is preparing to announce a new Nintendo Switch title.

Konami’s blend of blockbuster series like Metal Gear and Silent Hill, alongside experimental projects such as Project Zircon, shows a publisher working to balance nostalgia with fresh ideas.

They will be joining Sony, Xbox, Capcom, and SEGA who’re already confirmed to be attending this years event.

With live concerts, esports competitions, and brand-new reveals all packed into the schedule, Tokyo Game Show 2025 is shaping up to be one of the strongest editions in years for both fans and the industry at large.
