Capcom has launched the Ghosts ‘n Goblins Gala Fighting Pass for Street Fighter 6, offering a fresh set of themed rewards inspired by one of the company’s oldest franchises. Available now, the pass includes both free and Premium tracks, letting players unlock avatar gear, stickers, emotes, Challenger Screen illustrations, and a fully playable version of Ghouls ‘n Ghosts from the arcade era.
Halloween might be over, but Capcom’s timing keeps the spooky energy alive. The Ghosts ‘n Goblins Gala pass centres on the series’ trademark medieval fantasy theme, blending surprisingly well with the Street Fighter aesthetic. The standout additions this time around are new EX costume colours for A.K.I. and Blanka.
A.K.I.’s Outfit 3 swaps her usual tones for a bold red-and-black mix, while Blanka’s Outfit 2 turns almost ghostly with pale, spectral hues.
Arthur’s iconic knight armour from Ghosts ‘n Goblins also makes an appearance as unlockable avatar gear, joined by a new running emote that mimics his famously frantic sprinting animation. It’s a fun crossover detail that fans of Capcom’s retro catalogue will instantly recognise.
For players who enjoy personalising their online presence, the pass also features themed Challenger Screen art, sound effects, and player titles inspired by the 1980s action-platformer.
From what I’ve seen of the trailer and the new in-game additions, this is one of Capcom’s better-executed thematic passes so far. The Ghosts ‘n Goblins influence doesn’t feel forced, it’s playful, nostalgic, and adds just enough novelty to keep players logging in. The inclusion of Ghouls ‘n Ghosts as a playable bonus is especially smart. It gives long-time fans a small slice of retro gaming history right inside Street Fighter 6, something I’ve been hoping Capcom would experiment with more often.
Players who own the Premium track will also unlock new Challenger Screen illustrations for Dhalsim and Akuma, both featuring darker, moody designs that fit the event’s gothic aesthetic. While these visual updates won’t change gameplay, they give the roster a nice seasonal touch.
This update follows closely after the recent addition of C. Viper on October 15, along with the introduction of the “Sim Sim Stickers” feature. That update rewarded players for mastering character moves through collectible stickers usable in chat and the in-game camera, another example of Capcom tying skill-based progression to cosmetic rewards.
On top of the Fighting Pass, Street Fighter 6 continues to expand through other collaborations, including one with Banshee’s Last Cry, which brings a special scenario to the World Tour mode under the “One Fateful Day” menu. That crossover runs until April 30, 2026, offering new story content and exclusive items for those who log in during the event.
Players can jump into Street Fighter 6 right now across all major platforms, including the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam, where the new Fighting Pass is already live.
