Resident Evil 4 Quarry Blue Medallions – Fish Farm locations

Resident Evil 4 Remake players attempting to complete the “Destroy the Blue Medallions 2” side quest will need to locate and shatter 5 targets hidden around the Quarry and Fish Farm areas. This guide provides maps and instructions for securing the rewarding haul of 4 Spinels from the Merchant.

Starting the Search

This particular medallion hunt commences shortly after hero Leon Kennedy reaches the Quarry location situated just beyond the Church region. Along the path connecting the two areas, a Blue Request Note posted on the wall provides background flavour and marks the position of the targets on the map. Interacting with it logs the mission so players can then begin seeking and destroying the batch of 5 medallions scattered around Quarry and the connected Fish Farm.

Hunting the Sole Medallion in the Quarry

Only one of the brightly-coloured medallions is located inside the Quarry itself. The target sits high up on wooden scaffolding towers along the north wall. Open the map to identify the icon, then scan upward from the central clearing to spot the medallion dangling overhead. A few clean shots will dislodge it for the first destruction.

Two More Hiding Under and Inside Structures

After grabbing a Small Key from the Quarry, players can progress to the Fish Farm where 3 other medallions await elimination. The first hangs right underneath the small dock structure where a boat sits tied up. Walk down the ramp to reach the water’s edge, then turn and look back under the planks overhead to reveal the medallion.

The third Fish Farm medallion waits inside one of the wooden huts scattered around. Specifically, head for the shack with a life preserver buoy hanging outside on the southeast wall. You can actually shoot it from outside if you get the angle right. Alternatively step inside through the open window to find and shatter the medallion lingering there using your knife to preserve ammo.

The Final Two Tucked Away in Corners

To locate the fourth medallion, move to the wooden platform at the centre of the Fish Farm, near the ramp winding upwards to the north. Instead of ascending, drop off the left side then crouch underneath to spot the next medallion dangling in an obscured corner. Quickly destroy it before enemies wander over.

For the last of the five, journey south to the opposite end of the previous ramp overlook. There rests one final medallion high on the wooden wall of the structure. Look to the right of the steps when facing the ramp to glimpse the target. Now with all medallions eliminated, the Merchant can supply Leon with his useful Spinels.

Helpful Hints for Hunting Medallions

• Save sniper rifle ammo for distant shots when possible
• Read the note first to enable medallion map markers
• Finish before reaching the Church again to complete in time
• Spinels allow purchasing special weapons and upgrades

This is not to be confused with the blue medallions located in the village farm from the first merchant request. This is the 5th request for the quarry and fish farm areas which come much later in the game.
